I can do this

July 24th, 2011

I have installed an app on my mobile electrical blower called Blogpress which allows me to post things like this to Da Beans without having to visit the website.

So now – even while on the omnibus or while browsing Woolworths or something, I can post things here.

You can, I’m sure, imagine my excitement. Please detail how you imagined my excitement.

So… there is an app for that?

There is an app for everything. There’s even an app for you.

You load it up and press the “start listening” button and it records the music that’s playing, analyses it and matches it up against its database. Just like Shazam, you’re thinking, the service that tells you what a song is just by letting your phone listen to a little bit of it. Not so.

With the Ian app, it knows what the song and artist are, but it doesn’t tell you, and instead it just pops up a message on the screen that says “yeah, their first album was OK but they’ve sold out now with all this synthy shit”.

Does it also take you back in time to when Woolworths still existed? I like my app. It makes sense and helps people.

I think i had Ians app for a while but i took it off after it started downloading endless Morrisey demos. What would my app do?

Hey, I don’t like Morissey. The Smiths, yes, but most of the stuff done by that solo douchebag sucks underpant scrapings. Yeah. You heard.

Kev’s app would probably be a way to browse and purchase wireless abbabs and poodle grooming apparatus.

Kev’s app would always be found underneath a cushion in the corner of the living room.
