Avatar Smidge on Science: Rain

Seventeen days have gone by since Smidge Manly’s last video, and as seventeen is the number most associated with the Bard of Barnsley, it must be time for his next outing into the world of science.

Rain: you probably think you understand it, because it’s just water and you see it all the time. Well, you’re wrong. Smidge is about to show you just how little you know, and how little he knows too.

  • My work computer won’t let me look at this. I have to pretend I can a Smidge face with some rain on it, maybe similar to the front cover of ‘Pacific Ocean Blue’ by Dennis Wilson.

  • You can pretend whatever you like, but we all know that in truth you can’t a Smidge face with some rain on it. You can’t a Smidge face at all.

    Ha.

  • I think you’ll find that I can a Smidge face if I really wanted to. I’m full of possibilities!

  • Work does not like Smidge. It is a Smidge-free zone. I would put a suggestion in the suggestion box but I don’t think I could stand the long silence of someone who hadn’t a clue what I was talking about.

  • I’m happy that we have now proven that you can’t a Smidge face. Let’s draw a line under this sorry business now.

  • You know me, I will run a topic right down into the ground, way way down a lot further than most people will push it.

But for once I will not continue this. Can we go back to Dennis Wilson now?

  • Everyone is friends with Gary Wilmot, except for Chris who still doesn’t know who he is after all these years. And after all the white wine spritzers he’s bought him too, I don’t know…

Sometimes, when I’m at the lowest point of the day, I can muster up a Dennis Wilson face.

  • Not that I like to boast or anything, but I did win the a Dennis Wilson face Wallsend lookalike content in 2017. The price sits smugly next to my bingo trophy from 2012.

  • The price you paid or the price humanity paid for having to deal with a load of wierdy-beardy lookalikes in one place?

  • They took the price humanity paid and lumped it into a tiny gold statue for me to display for everyone to see.

  • As a member of humanity I think that’s a price worth paying.

(I’m going to be honest, I’ve totally lost track of what’s happening here)

  • (Me too, but at least I know I can a Dennis Wilson face. I thought maybe I was too old to do it).
