Chris’s Top Theme Tune of the Month

March 16th, 2009

Yes, theme tune fans! It’s time for another brilliant theme tune! Here’s where I bring you one and you can listen to it! Why? Mostly because this place is dead and that makes me sad! So here’s something to perk it up a bit as Da Beans approaches its third birthday!

Clicky clicky clicky this: UFO theme tune

Yes! It’s the theme music from Gerry Anderson’s UFO, first screened in 1970 and which has been mostly forgotten as a live-action follow up to things like Stingray and Joe 90 that nobody remembers much because it wasn’t all that good and nobody was sure if it was for kid sor grown ups. But what a theme tune!

As my Top Theme Tune of the Month, I award it seventeen annoying stars and my own personal “yippee”!

That sounds like it came straight from the Austin Powers Library of Crappy Dance Tunes.

    I hate it.

    HA

I see you’ve corrected your spellings, Mr Hill, making it harder for me to lampoon you in my reply. Very cunning.

I therefore resort to the age-old response: HA!

HA to you and all you stand for!

PS. Write a post of your own, this place is gasping for life.

You refused to listen to the Cowboy Bebop theme tune when I offered it to you so in accordance with the childish rules of infancy and immaturity I refuse to listen to some pish posh that Gerry Anderson created.

What a mother chuffer (him, not you).

And what was the cowboy bebop theme tune? I don’t remember this at all. Was it a dream?

I think it was like on Saturday not last week but the one before, or perhaps it was a Wednesday and I’m just lying or, like you, my memory has cheese grated it out of my brain.

You didn’t even give me a chance to play it for you, you just dismissed it and sent it away like the fish in ‘The Lorax’. They were dying from pollution though so it made sense.

I’m sorry Mr. McIver, you’ve contravined the PB Code of “No Manga references in polite conversation”.

Its off down the nick for you sonny jim.

But my last post mentioned Dr. Seuss, not Manga. You can’t take me down for that, guv!

We have a file of crimes, going back nearly 15 years. You’re going down for a long time sunshine.

This is an outrage! Oh wait…

    *steps over the outrage*

This is unfair and not acceptable. You could say it’s anti acceptable because I do not accept it.

Next you’ll be telling me that thrusting in people’s faces isn’t allowed!

No, no, thats fine by us, thrust away… in prison. Ha

It’s as if a decent, ordinary citizen of the British Isles cannot read foreign cartoons and gesticulate their loins in other people’s directions without having their wrists slapped.

Well this is political correctness gone mad I tell you!
