Gutted I missed this, I was in the office today. There’s not much going on right now, I’m sure they wouldn’t have minded me nipping out.
I’m absolutely gutted about this. I could have arranged my calendar around this so I was in Leeds, York or Scarborough on the key dates. Maybe even all three. I could have had a jerk chicken pizza with the man himself.
You could have jerked some pizza with ole Ainsley. What a gay ole time that could have been.
I bet the halls of that shopping centre in Cross Gates were rippling with Ainsley’s laughter all afternoon.
I’ve looked up the full menu and I’m disappointed to find that it’s all about adding Caribbean spice to the Coopland’s classics. None of it – literally none of it – is inspired by Ainsley’s time playing a gelf on Red Dwarf.
That is disappointing. A missed opportunity. Put his foot right in that one, didn’t he?
