I know you’ve been waiting for it, so here is the latest news from this month’s Bordon and Whitehill Parish Council Newsletter.
‘The Bordon Pig’, who is called Holly, escaped from Hollybrook Mobile Farm on 3 January 2021. 100s of hours have been spent by a small dedicated team from the community, led by Cllr. Tina Strickland and William Dadley, to ensure her safe return to her family and friends. After 52 days being at large she is now home safe and sound. Thank you to all those who assisted in returning her home.
Unfortunately we still don’t know how a “mobile farm” can possibly exist, but we’ll bring you more news on that when we have it.

Is the ‘mobile farm’ the back of Cllr. Tina Strickland’s Nissan Micra? Poor pig.
Let’s hope not. There isn’t much boot space in a Micra. Once Holly lies down to have a nap you’ve got nowhere to put her trough.
Nah mate, a mobile farm is one that you hang over a baby’s cot. You’d think having two bucket of chiles that he would know this.
Pigs love being suspended in mid-air.
That must be one enormous hanger above a positively vast cot. My question is, how big is the baby, that it has real farmyard animals dangling over its face?
And where to all the farmyard poops and weeps go?
I don’t know much about kids but… this big maybe?
The poops go through the poop tubes to the poop silo.
The weeps get cried out and dried up with a handkerchief the size of a farmer’s field.
How often do you muck out the poop silo?
I checked the calendar and it’s been at least three weekums. I’ve been letting my responsibilities slide, I’m really sorry guys.
I don’t like anything about this. I almost prefer the idea of a farm in the back of a Nissan Micra to this.
The bees are in the what now?
You take what you can get, Christopher, and currently you have a grand mal.
The thing Kev said in the first comment. That. That’s what I prefer to you and your world of giant babies gazing up at a poop silo. A world where I don’t have to think about that is a net gain for me, no matter what size my mal is.
